|
|
as this section was started kindly after my asking, seems rude to not do it right!
will post the other ideas later, doing this before a morning bike ride!
Washburn NX6 Baritone.
Body wood: Alder (because its light so good for playing live) or Padauk (Padauk should blatently be Washburns signature wood)
Neck wood: Birdseye maple (the sickest most birdseye maple going!)
Fret Board: Macassar Ebony w/ the off centre block inlays like the WI68
Neck Joint: SEC (king of neck joints)
Scale length: 28" up to 24 frets if possible 14" radius (not compound)
Bridge: option of Floyd or a nice solid Gotoh hard tail
Controls: same as NX6, but two volumes and no tone so that 3 way can double as killswitch. dual coil tapping, same as NX6.
Pickups: Seymour Duncan Blackouts
Finish: c'mon, you know! Oil !
Frets: stainless Dunlop 6100
Hardware colour: Black.
MISC: come fitted with Schaller strap locks
Instead of just making the neck longer, move the bridge futher back too so it doesn't look too long, like so many baritone guitars.
Theres not enough options in the world of baritone guitars, ESP and Danelectro have pretty much got the market.
washburn are better. _________________ www.youtube.com/BlueBuddha |

Excellent! I was hoping that would be a mtb- cool.
I sold my Orange 223 and MsIsle last year, I have a Cube Stereo now (I've had to grow up - dislocated shoulders hurt!) _________________ Does anyone really read these? |
