Just been reading this article about Satch's new amp... I have no doubt that it will sound awesome, but if I'm reading it correctly, it has 4 channels, each with 3 modes of operation?! So, like a 12 channel amp! That sounds a bit too OTT complicated for me. I've spent too much time messing with the NBKing112's 2 main channels - 12 would take over my life!

And knowing he's likely to only use the clean channel with his distortion pedal(s) .... _________________

He's predominately using the clean channel with his pedal, maybe switching channels for a boost. That's about it. _________________ 1989 Ibanez RG750

To be fair, no company would release a single channel sig amp for Joe. It just won't sell.
But yeah, I've never understood it myself. First it was the 30th Anny Marshall and now a channel-switcher like the JVM.
You'd think that 2 channels would be more than enough for Joe |
